About the Paso Fino Horse Association

Official Paso Fino Breed Association and Registry for the U.S., South America, Central America, Canada, and Europe

The Paso Fino Horse Association (PFHA) was formed in 1972 to promote the Paso Fino horse and to maintain the integrity of the Registry of the PFHA.   The primary objectives of PFHA are:

  1. Educate the public on the unique qualities of the Paso Fino horse and thus promote the breed.
  2. Maintain and preserve the Registry of the PFHA.
  3. Regulate all matters relating to the breeding, exhibition, promotion, and improvements of the Paso Fino horse.   The PFHA Constitution and Rule Book are the regulatory documents.
  4. Maintain the Paso Fino Breed Standard.

PFHA is comprised of twenty-four (24) regional group affiliates which are geographically aligned and cover all fifty states as well as Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, South America, Central America, Canada, and Europe.  Click HERE for a Directory of our Regions.

PFHA is governed by the Board of Directors which is comprised of the Executive Committee and a Director from each Regional Group affiliate.   The Executive Committee is comprised of the elected officers to include the President, the Past President, the Vice President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and three appointed directors.

PFHA provides the following services:
